Press release dated April 3, 2000

Walt Disney World! The Everglades! New York City!

We're sure you already know this, since you've probably been marking the days
on your calendars, but it's been seven months since we last updated
The Alexander Home Page.
Yes, the earth has revolved on its axis more than 200
times since we thrilled you with our account of Alex's visit to
Spain.

We apologize for our tardiness. We know full well what a hardship this has
been for you all. We're aware that for many people,
The Alexander Home Page provides the one ray of sunshine
in their otherwise bleak, grey, dismal lives.
For those of you who feel that way (and you know who you are) we have news
that will tingle your spine.

THE ALEXANDER HOME PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED!

Our latest update reaches all the way back to the
busy month of October 1999, when Alex spent a day in
New York City, and also
celebrated his third birthday.
We'll take you to the top of
the Empire State Building, to the Central Park Zoo, and then back
to Alex's house for a slice of "horsey cake" and a plastic ear of corn.
It's old-fashioned fun, Alexander Home Page style!

We then skip ahead to December, when Alex held his fourth annual
meeting with Santa Claus.
You know what Alex looks like, and you
probably know what Santa Claus looks like, but here's a rare chance
to see them together.

New York City! Alex's birthday! Santa Claus! These three items alone
are more than worth the price of admission. But there's more, much more!
In January 2000 Alex visited the world's most popular tourist attraction -
Walt Disney World
in Orlando, Florida. (Perhaps you've heard of it!) See
Alex in the Magic Kingdom, at
EPCOT, and at
Disney MGM Studios. Take a look
at the Animal Kingdom theme park!
See Alex and his cousins in a Lego frenzy
at Downtown Disney.
And our account of Alex's
breakfast with Mickey Mouse
is so vivid you'll actually taste the maple syrup on Alex's pancakes! You
may
have seen Disney World before, but you've never seen it through the eyes
of Alexander!

We know that by now you must be absolutely breathless with anticipation.
But, hard as it may be to believe, there's still more! While in Florida, Alex
made a side trip to Florida's
Everglades.
Don't miss the terrifying tale of
Alex's encounter with a wild alligator!

And, finally, we have a sneak glimpse of the brand new home that Alex will be
moving into later this month. So sit back, catch your breath, and visit
The Alexander Home Page at

http://www.leaptoad.com/ahp

If you miss all this excitement, you'll have no one to blame but yourself!

Three months ago, we told you that Alex was about to embark upon his biggest vacation ever.
You waited patiently, but soon patience turned to anxiety, and anxiety turned to pure panic.
Each day you would rush to your e-mail box, hoping against hope that an update
announcement would be waiting there. It's been a difficult three months, to be sure.
But rest easily, faithful one! The end of your months of torment is at hand!
You are about to read those seven joyous words that will
tingle your spine and make you sing out with delight:

THE ALEXANDER HOME PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED!

Yes, it's true. Alex has returned from his big vacation, and, since then,
our overworked staff has been busy putting together our biggest update yet.
Alex's 13-day trip to Spain is now online!
Visit The Alexander Home Page at http://www.leaptoad.com/ahp to see all
the highlights of Alex's visit to Madrid
and
seven other Spanish cities that you've probably never heard of!
You'll be exposed to wonders you never dreamed existed!
There are crazy restaurants, scary bird rooms, sidewalks paved with beans,
a famous movie star, and much more! See the history and culture of one of Europe's oldest
civilizations through the eyes of America's favorite toddler! If you can't get to Spain,
get to The Alexander Home Page! As always, you'll be glad you did!

But wait, there's more! If eight Spanish cities aren't enough to whet your appetite,
how about a first ever glimpse into the pages of Alexander's Photo Album?
Alex is now an accomplished amateur photographer, and his work can be found exclusively on
The Alexander Home Page! His photographs have been described as "haunting" and "evocative"
by the Houston Chronicle, and the Detroit Free Press has praised his
"dazzling interplay of light and shadow."
Come see what all of the buzz is about!

And if that's not enough (and really, don't you think it ought to be?) we also have the
Internet debut of Alex's two youngest cousins!
They're two little bundles of sugar and spice and everything nice, and they can be found
only on The Alexander Home Page!

So don't hesitate. Visit The Alexander Home Page today! As always, you'll be glad you did!

Press release dated May 15, 1999

Return to the Bronx Zoo

We may owe you an apology.

Just three short weeks ago, when we last updated The Alexander Home
Page, we promised you that our next update would feature highlights of
Alexander’s Big Vacation.

Well, we were wrong. It’s not that we won’t be showcasing the big
vacation. It’s just that we surprised ourselves, and the world at large,
by sneaking in another update before Alex has even departed on his trip.
That’s right!

THE ALEXANDER HOME PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED!

It’s true! You’re not dreaming! There has been a special bonus update of
the world’s favorite web site! Visit The Alexander Home Page at

http://www.leaptoad.com/ahp

You’ll find out what Alex got for his mother on Mother’s Day! You’ll
read about Alex’s triumphant return to the Bronx Zoo! And you’ll see
Alex photographed with one of the world’s most famous clowns!

We assure you, there will be no further updates until after Alex has
returned from his huge fabulous vacation. The Surgeon General has
requested that we refrain from updating The Alexander Home page too
frequently. Studies have shown that the cumulative effect of too much
euphoria can cause increased pulse rates and heart palpitations that may
lead to hospitalization.

So check out The Alexander Home Page. But please, do it in a safe,
responsible manner.

Thank you.

Recent Photographs of Alexander

The Alexander Home Page has been updated.
New features include a set of recent photos of Alexander,
and a look at Alex's favorite Disney movies.
Also, as is customary, we present a revised list of the things that Alexander enjoys.

We invite you to visit The Alexander Home Page at http://www.leaptoad.com/ahp.

Longtime readers may be surprised at the relatively mild tone of this announcement.
True, it lacks much of the bombast and hyperbole that often accompany Alexander Home Page update announcements.
Why is this, you ask?

The answer is quite simple. Our current update is a minor one, featuring a mere seven photographs.
Most of the staff here at LeapToad.com have been busily preparing for our next update,
which is scheduled for release sometime this summer. Alexander is planning his biggest,
longest, and most ambitious vacation yet, and The Alexander Home Page is, as always,
committed to bringing all the excitement to your computer screen.
When next you hear from us, and we assure you, gentle reader, hear from us you shall,
all the pulse-pounding energy you've grown accustomed to will return in full force.

So enjoy The Alexander Home Page today. And brace yourself for what tomorrow will bring…

at all! Some of the items on these lists may astound you! They may shake
you to the very core of your being! Or, on the other hand, you may simply

Over the past few years, we've heard about so many mergers and acquisitions,
that we've become almost numb. Corporate takeovers come and go, and we
hardly give a moment's notice. Jaded as we are, however, when a really
big deal comes along, we have to sit up and pay attention.

The Alexander Home Page today announced that it has merged with LeapToad
Enterprises, and is relocating to www.leaptoad.com. After over a year
and a half on America Online, The Alexander Home Page boldly steps
forward into a new era. The announcement was greeted with screaming
headlines in the normally staid New York Times and Wall Street Journal.
It even caused the pundits on
CNN's crossfire to stop talking about Monica Lewinsky!

On a grey January day in 1997, a lone photograph of a small boy was uploaded to a fledgling web site.
Above the picture was a single, sparse paragraph
containing, for some unexplained reason, a link to a tourism site in Boston.

It was from these humble beginnings that The Alexander Home Page
emerged. This month, The Alexander Home Page celebrates its first
anniversary. Hailed in USA Today as "the
reason the Internet was invented," and by U.S. News and World Report as "the most authoritative
repository of information accessible to the general masses," The Alexander Home Page will be
the subject of a star-studded salute on VH-1 later this month.
The special will be hosted by singing sensation Tony Danza, and will
feature guest appearances by Jerry Seinfeld, Drew Barrymore,
and Jewel.
